After many months of searching for a contractor that was willing to take on our whole-home remodel project, we were so blessed to find Kilbarger Home Builders! Mark, the owner, came out to our home at least 4 different times to meet with us about our ideas and helped us come up with the perfect design. He was able to give us ideas that we didn’t even think of before. It helps when he has been designing and building homes longer than we’ve been alive. The best part was that he was completely honest with us, even if it was something he knew we wouldn’t like to hear. He doesn’t lie to you just to get the job, but will guide you in the right direction based off your must haves. I’ve never had a contractor call me while he is driving with his family on the way to vacation and say, “Hey, I was thinking about your house and came up with an even better idea that I think you would like if you have a second to talk”. It doesn’t get better than that for service! At that point, we were sold.Also a shout out to Courtney, who helped with the design as well. She was amazing and was always quick to respond to any texts or calls. She helped guide us with decisions and stayed on top of us to make sure we were making decisions by the deadlines so we could get back in our home as soon as possible. Your help is very much appreciated!Once the work was started, Jack, our general contractor for the job, took the reins and handled any questions or minor hiccups that came up throughout the build. It takes a lot of patience to handle the amount of questions we had throughout the process and Jack handled it like a true professional. We were at ease knowing Jack had everything handled throughout the entire process. Every contractor that worked on our home was very respectful and kind when we would stop in to check on the progress. Even now that we are back in our home, Mark and Jack have still been there to answer any questions we have had.We feel so blessed to have had everyone at Kilbarger, who feels like family, guide us through this process. After a really bad experience with a prior contractor, everyone at Kilbarger made sure we felt comfortable and were always extremely transparent. We truly believe God led us to them and are forever grateful. When people come to our house now, they tell us they can’t even believe it’s the same house! We would recommend Kilbarger to anyone looking for a new build or remodel project!
